We are supporting one of the world’s most recognized global retailers in strengthening their machine learning team. Their products reach millions of customers every day, and the systems you will help build will directly shape how those customers discover, interact with, and shop across digital channels.
This is an opportunity to step into an environment where machine learning is at the core of personalization and large-scale recommendation systems.
The Assignment
- Start date is October 13, 2025
- End date is June 30, 2026
- Location is Stockholm, on-site only
- Level is mid to senior consultant
- You will join a product team focused on customer-facing recommendation systems with high availability, APIs, and scalable ML solutions
What You Will Work On
- Design, develop, and maintain ML pipelines using Vertex AI Pipelines and Kubeflow
- Work with BigQuery, SQL, and DBT for data modeling and transformations
- Build orchestration workflows in Cloud Composer and Airflow
- Manage IAM, service accounts, and Data Catalog for security and compliance
- Apply Infrastructure as Code principles
- Write clean, testable, production-ready Python code with OOP and testing frameworks
- Implement unit and end-to-end testing with Pytest, unittest, and fixtures
- Follow best practices for linting, formatting, and CI/CD
- Work with Docker and GitHub Actions
- Contribute to resilient data modeling and system design
What We Are Looking For
- Strong experience with GCP including Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Composer, IAM, and Data Catalog
- Deep expertise in Python with testing frameworks such as Pytest and unittest
- Excellent skills in SQL, DBT, Docker, and Git
- Familiarity with Unix systems and shell scripting
- Exposure to Kubernetes or Dataflow is an advantage
- Experience with recommendation systems, personalization, or high-availability
- APIs is highly valued
- Professional Machine Learning Engineer certification is required
