The Role
We are looking for an experienced data scientist with experience from defence critical development.
- Independently drive NAD’s data science priorities
- Work in close cooperation with the flight, autonomy and seeker teams to develop effective methods in support of kinetic CUAS solutions
- Build and maintain our data analysis toolchains
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in computer science or similar knowledge
- Documented experience developing for air defence applications
- Demonstrated experience developing original concepts and reducing thse to practise and full deployment
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing machine learning in deployed systems
- Fluency in English (the spoken language in our office)
- Proficiency Linux-based development environments
- Significant experience developing in Python
- Can obtain work permit to work in Sweden
Desired Qualifications
- Strong mathematical background including statistical methods
- Proficiency in a second European language (ex. Swedish, German, French)
- Safety/quality standards exposure (e.g., DO-178C, IEC-61508/ISO-26262, SIL levels)
